The Cruiser Series Retrofit Kit must be bottom-mounted. If you currently have a top-mounted board, this kit will work, however it will look odd and will not match the front.

Bottom Mounted - Fully Compatible
If your trucks are bottom-mounted (base plate mounted below the deck & not visable from above) you're totally good to go.
Top Mounted - Partly Compatible
Also known as a 'Drop Through', a top mount is when your trucks are visable from above your deck. Since the Cruiser Series kit must be bottom-mounted, you can still bottom-mount this on your board, but it will look odd & not be congruent.
