How Does it Work?
Cruiser Series kit will work with over 99% of decks, but it looks best with bottom-mounted boards.
1. Check Your Board
Check whether your board is BOTTOM or TOP mounted.
- If the trucks are BOTTOM mounted, you're good to go.
- If the trucks are TOP mounted, the Cruiser Series Kit will look funky. Consider getting the Pro Series Kit.
2. Install Your Kit.
Installing our kit is easy, and we give you all the tools you'll need.

Overall
Skate Brake is easy to use at any speed or skill level. It smoothly applies pressure, so the harder you press, the more it will brake. To activate, simply press on the pedal with your heel - and don't worry, it will never throw you off the board.
Brake Pedal
The button peddle screws on & off, allowing you full control. The small button design fits right onto your board without taking up too much space, perfect for cruisers & bottom-mounted boards.
Brake Arm
Our integrated brake arm is the key to reliable stopping power. It smoothly applies pressure across the wheels, making for a smooth & non-jerky speed control at up to 25 MPH+.
Hanger and Base Plate
Modeled after a Paris skate truck, you'll get the carves of a regular truck. Our aluminum die cast hanger and base plate are built with high tolerances for maximum durability, rider feel, and compatibility.
Wheels
Fits with any 68-72mm wheels. Comes installed with high quality VibeRide 70mm 78A wheels, lasting 1-3 years on average before replacement is needed. Our medium/soft wheels are the perfect for grippy turns, smooth rides, and maximal cruising.

My leg is partially paralyzed and the Viberide skate brake helps make braking easier. I ride standing on my other leg. Best solution for ease of braking.

I love these guys for hooking it up
I got the one of the vibe ride skateboards around Christmas. Although hesitant about the look and the weight, I quickly realized that this board was for me. I skate in a very hilly area and the brake is a game changer. My brake broke about a week ago and I didn’t have the order number nor did I still talk to the person I got the board from. I emailed customer support to see what could be done and to my surprise they were incredibly nice and easy about it. I was expecting to pay something as i had no information to prove it was still under warranty and without many questions, the vibe ride team helped me out and sent a new brake for me. They were quick responding, nice, easy, and made my experience very good. I just put on the new brake and my situation went from bummed out because of a broken break to happy that I can ride again in such a short time with no extra money spent. Thank you vibe ride.
I ride my skateboard with my 2 dogs and the y just pulled me too fast so I got this product and it works pretty well. I'm able to slow them down in a controlled manner. Much safer now
